Our secure hospital provides acute care for patients who need short-term psychiatric intervention and stabilization. Depending on the individualized treatment plan for each patient, services may include physical, occupational and/or speech therapy, group and/or individualized therapy, family or couples therapy, medication management and therapeutic recreation. Special features of the hospital include a high staff-patient ratio (one-on-one as needed), family inclusion in treatment and opportunities for families to interact with the entire treatment team. We also have an outpatient mental health clinic. The clinic is staffed with psychiatric nurse practitioners with prescriptive authority and master-level counselors, all under fellowship-trained psychiatric oversight.
