Committed to Quality

     Long-term care centers, also known by many people as nursing homes, must follow strict state and federal regulations. As a means of ensuring compliance with these regulations, long-term care centers undergo annual health inspections, usually by inspectors from that state’s Division of Public Health. If an inspector finds an infraction of these regulations, whether large or small, the center is given a deficiency rating.
     SunBridge is pleased to announce that the results of this health inspection found the following centers that we operate to be deficiency free--a status that less than eight percent of nursing centers nationwide achieved according to a report by the American Health Care Association:

• Cottage of the Shoals Care and Rehabilitation Center (Ala.);
• Crestwood Care and Rehabilitation Center (N.H.);
• Hopkins Care and Rehabilitation Center (Ky);
• The Legacy (Ky.);
• Magnolia Village (Ky.);
• Maplewood Care and Rehabilitation Center (Mass.);
• Renaissance Care and Rehabilitation Center (Ga.);
• Sylvania Care and Rehabilitation Center; and
• Triad Care and Rehabilitation Center (N.C.).

      This health inspection process is a thorough review that addresses standards related to providing the expected quality of life for our residents and patients. This process validates our compliance status with state and federal regulations that govern nursing homes.
