- Administrator In Training (AIT)
- Receives the required training in the development of effective leadership and managerial skills to successfully become a licensed healthcare administrator.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in healthcare administration, business administration or a related field, or 10 years of full-time work experience in a skilled nursing center, intermediate care center or an intermediate care center for developmentally/disabled with at least 60 semester units (or 90 quarter units) of college or university courses.
- Must meet state requirements for AIT.
- Eligibility for federal and state nursing home administrator licensure.
- Administrator
- Responsible for developing and maintaining employee relations, ensuring the coordination of the delivery of quality care and services, consistent with the center’s obligations at law and under the applicable policies and procedures and achieving business development goals and results.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration or a related field preferred. Current federal and state nursing home administrator licensure.
